I am a Primary School teacher based in a small rural school just outside of Malton. Heritage Adventures came to deliver a workshop to my Year3/4 mixed class focused around our topic of the Stone Age to Iron Age Britain. It was absolutely fantastic! They were extremely well prepared with a variety of age appropriate resources that captured the children's interest. Their subject knowledge was second to none and were able to answer all the children's questions (however unusual they were!) The children loved having the opportunity to explore replica artefacts like those we had be learning about in class, and the workshop on making aerodynamic arrows inspired lots of further work. Thank you so much Heritage Adventures for bringing this topic to life in my classroom. Both I and the children thoroughly enjoyed it and I know it will be one of those lessons that they look back on in the future and remember!
